Clomid + Provera while overweight?
Q: I'm 19, 5'7 and 255 pounds. I'm afraid to ask my doctor is taking Clomid and Provera since I was overweight. I want to be a little more educated before I asked. I have very irregular periods and has been TTC for almost a year without success.
I am curious to know what they did to test PCOS. metaformin would help you lose weight, which in turn are likely to have periods of return, they will probably advise you to lose weight before using clomid, TBH.
There is no blood test for PCOS. No test at all for the PCOS. He rarely shows as a "textbook" case.
I would like to focus on getting healthy before trying to get pregnant. You are very young and have plenty of time to pregnancy. Why not take care of yourself first, then later return to the pregnancy thing?

Avoid Thiazolidinediones to Preserve Bone in Diabetic Patients

Risk of a patient should be evaluated using the tool FRAX online and evaluate the history of other risk factors for fracture that are not covered by FRAX, said Dr. Graf, a rheumatologist at the Hospital General San Francisco.
If you decide to use a thiazolidinedione to treat diabetes in a person at high risk of fractures, adverse effects on bone could be mitigated by using a lower dose.At least two thiazolidinediones - rosiglitazone and pioglitazone - are available in low-dose formulations in combination with metformin, and combinations to provide the same level of control of diabetes as monotherapy at a higher dose glitazone, he said.
